The Seller's Checklist

Exterior

Front entry looks clean and maintained
Freshen paint (if necessary)
Manicure lawn, flowers and shrubs, repair fences
Remove trash and clutter
Make sure everything is in good working order and looks maintained

Interior

Freshen paint and carpets (if necessary)
Repair any holes or unsightly marks
Remove excess furniture
Straighten closets and cupboards
Clean walls and appliances
Replace broken items (including outlets, windows or tile)
Fix all leaky faucets and door or cabinet squeaks
Remove clutter (rooms appear larger with less)
Replace burnt out light bulbs
